Tying Up Loose Ends.

Again with the delays! What’s wrong with me? Anyway, it’s always fun to tie up loose ends. In other news, I — along with others — have a gallery opening this Thursday…

Grand Opening
7 pm – 9 pm
Thursday, May 4th
Wings Gallery
425 Fawell Blvd.
Glen Ellyn, IL 60137

The show runs through May 2006, and I’ll be showcasing a lot of my Sausage-Fest work. There will be refreshments and (if my package comes in on time), I’ll be giving away free buttons. This is your only chance, my friends, before I inflate the price and charge you all up the ass for Sausage-Fest buttons! SCROOGE MCDUCK!

Kelly the Nympho.

This comic marks the debut of the popular Kelly the Nympho. Apparently, all the female fans love her. Kelly, like most of the characters, are based off real people. The real Kelly is a sweet and wholesome gal, yet was supposedly really kinky with her old boyfriend.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation.

So it begins again… The comic is pretty self-explanatory — and it’s all true!

It’s Like A Little Comic Reunion.

The second panel features characters from Daily Illini cartooists who once graced the paper: (from left) Joe Martin’s “Boy,” Jacob Angel and Oliver Chang’s “Best Friends Club,” Paige Dickinson’s “Playing with Plastic,” and Matt Vroom’s “I Hate Pam.”

Vroom was infamous for the “Jew Nose” comic that sparked a lot of controversy not only in Champaign-Urbana, but the nation as well.

Cluck.

“Ninja Please” was a comic in the Daily Illini by my friends Jake Angel and Oliver Chang (collectively known, by me at least, Jaliver Changel). Their comic always had some Kung Fu Chinese stereotype that always said “NINJA PLEASE!” in the most unusual and non-sequitur situations.
