You know, I had always found that Pringles were addictive — hence its slogan, “Once You Pop, You Can’t Stop.” Honestly, it’s crack in the form of tasty potato crisps.

So the University is getting rid of its mascot, Chief Illinwek. It’s not like I care or anything, but it’s a good way to photoshop a lot of the U of I Whores into a rather quick comic. By Friday (I’ll be done with most of my tests and papers) I should have some better quality comics.

I’m pretty swamped with midterms and papers, so I apologize for lackluster comics these next few days. And Happy Birthday, Todd Borrowman — you’ve attained fame in the comics.

It’s been a while since Cyrus the Whiny Nuclear Engineer and Kelly the Nympho made an appearance. Anyhoo, this comic was supposed to be published on Monday as a pre-Valentine’s Day comic, but it took longer to ink than I expected. Plus the little hearts were a bitch to draw.

While stalking some of my creative writing friends on Facebook, I’ve noticed some really glaring spelling errors in their profiles. In the past, I’ve always thought that misspellings and typos were just limited to my one, creative writing major friend, Zach (what can I say, he was dropped as a child), but after reading other rhetoric majors’ written drafts as well as anything written on their MySpace/Livejournal/Facebook stuff, almost all of my creative writing friends aren’t the most accurate spellers. I suppose rhetoric classes are not about writing properly but rather how well you can incorporate the themes of sex, death, and/or depression into your work.

Alright, alright — I’m back in the game for real this time; I already have a few comics inked and uploaded to the server. So what’s the inspiration? Well, for one thing, my friend Tim Eggerding has been EGG-ERDINGING me on to get off my ass and draw some. Also, friend and fellow DI cartoonist, Joe Martin, is planning to make a comic comeback, and like a comic vampire I am revitalized by the art and skills of others.

So yes, in regards to today’s comic, college girls like to go out to bars wearing nothing. Sexy as it may initially appear, watching naive freshmen and sorority girls get pneumonia is kinda funny.
