People really seemed to enjoy the whole “If AIM Profiles Ruled the World” comic from last year, so in honor of the internet-themed week of comics, here is the new “If AIM Profiles Ruled the World.”

Another one of my favorite comics. And if you check out my Facebook Account, you can see the second panel as my profile pic!
There are two things I like about this comic: spoiling “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and dropping Nick Greene’s name. I swear, I don’t think there’s anyone on Illinois’ campus that doesn’t know Nick Greene.
Believe it or not, the story is actually true. Back in high school, I overheard someone talking about his new screen name, “Kid Raper,” and I couldn’t stop cracking up. Of course, I the notion of someone idolizing Kid Rock is funny in itself.I also think the poster “I Heart Drug” adds a nice, funny touch.
So what’s the deal between Duder and his harem? Riches, bitches.Everyone seems to enjoy the background banter Duder’s harem provides.
Every year, the Greek system here at Illinois produce some catchy slogan to promote and encourage young, hapless freshmen into joining a fraternity or sorority. This year’s 2005 Fall Rush slogan was “Great Women Go Greek.”
In case you didn’t know, the “Purple Monkey Dishwasher” is a Simpsons’ quote.
Special thanks go out to the Greeks who helped me out on this one!
Rumor has it that a certain fraternity (on a national scale) has its pledges raise a puppy and kill it off at initiation. Of course, that’s just a rumor, but for any social group that lives by such secretive rules and conduct (like fraternities and sororities), I wouldn’t count these rumors as false.Furthermore, it still amazes me how such party animals can grow up to be the people who run this country…
So my friend and fellow cartoonist Pat Doran showed this comic to two sorority girls in his class. They were not amused. Pat started laughing uncontrollably.
“Duck Hunt” was — or is — a remarkably fun game. Oh, the memories! They seep through me like a wood varnish!
Speaking of video games, Lindsey is wearing Jill Valentine’s outfit from Resident Evil 3. Good times!
Sufjan Stevens — much to my indie music snob excitement — did come to the University of Illinois, but unfortunately, I could not go.I love making fun of myself and the culture I immerse myself in…
