This was drawn during the 2003 Baseball season when the Chicago Cubs were doing pretty well.

A sweet ending to a moderately wild and wacky storyline.
Many of the integral characters were introduced in this story arc — including Duder and Lizzy. I feel that the relationship between Lizzy and Chris is sure to blossom, even at the risk of vomit and arson. Love at first site?
The aftermath of the Delta Iota Kappa party… chockful with references to past jokes!
And don’t bother calling the number at the bottom… Bryan graduated.
I guess I was too lazy to show Chris setting Lizzy on fire, but I find Jeffro and Jen’s peanut gallery commentary to suffice.
I think one of the best ways to start a conversation with people is to ask them their major. Sure, it seems really cliched, but it’s a great catalyst for a decent conversation. Of course, I recommend not drinking an entire cup of grain alcohol beforehand, unless you want to come off as a blithering, drunken asshole.
Drinking a lot does hit you like a truck… and as you will soon see, leads to utter disaster.
I had a Molecular & Cellular Biology test that day…
For someone who’s as refreshingly naive as Chris, he clearly doesn’t know what alcohol tastes like.
Oh, people who corrupt the untainted are saints. But please, people: don’t give people straight grain alcohol… unless you want to see some really funny stuff!
One of my favorite comics, just because it’s so random. I also like writing drunk talk.
As for the huge “FUCK,” guess how badly the people at the DI had to censor that.
One of ZCC’s personal favorites.
When it comes to Chris and women, it’s obvious that he doesn’t have a lot of experience on the subject. As a result, there’s that horrible period of awkward silence that seems to plague everyone once in his or her lifetime. I honestly hate awkward silences; it’s one of my petpeeves. I feel that in any given situation, an awkward silence is instant death, and you start to lose the interest of whomever you’re talking to — and I’m awkward enough as it is!
The drawing of Lizzy here depicts what she looks like in the rest of the comic strips; I think the difference between this one and yesterday’s are the shapes of the eyes and nose.
As for Nigel and Randy, I find Nigel’s use of “Goddammit” to be ironic — perhaps in some blasphemous way…
And what did ever happen to Kelly Osbourne?
